FIXTURE CARD 2025

There is a slight error with two of the telephone numbers on the fixture card, this was as a result of shrinking the table down to fit the box the last number was lost. So Percy Hickman number should read 07868 777698 and Linda Boyd number should read 07799 471473. Apologies for the error.

The Outdoor green is now open and its bowling well. The weather has been on the greenkeepers side and we owe them a vote of thanks for a job well done, thankyou.

On the back of the fixture card the Outdoor Committee asks all members please respect our green by wearing the right shoes and correct dress during fixtures. Roll up you can wear what you like providing your wearing the correct footwear that’s not been contaminated. See notice below:

We have a great deal of fixtures at the club and there is something for all so the club will be busy this season.

GALA DAY SATURDAY 30th AUGUST This year we holding a gala day in aid of MIND Charity. Currently we have a sub committee working on the format and all aspects of a successful gala day. I can say we hoping to have some special guests, barbecue, music and a raffle with some outstanding prizes. Teams will be made up from our own club and invited teams from the County and other Counties. This will be a very busy day for not only those playing but also all the organisers and helpers, so it will be all hands to the pumps with the intention of raising a great deal of money for the charity. Once I and the Committee have more information I will let you all know.

As I said there is great dealing happening in the Outdoor season this year so please support your club not just bowling but assisting around the club. Please do not leave it to the committee members to do it all, the committee members want to enjoy the season as well.

Once I have some more news and updates I will keep you informed.
